Prologo Nago R4 PAS 147mm Saddle
The NAGO R4 147 PAS (Redesign 4) is the evolution of the iconic NAGO, the Prologo saddle born in 2008 already winner in the years of a Giro d’Italia and numerous Classics. Designed starting from the needs of the professional teams supported by Prologo, the new saddle has been perfected thanks to the tests “Pressure Map MyOwn ”, to meet the needs of all cyclists in search of maximum performance and comfort even for long rides.
Compact dimensions with a length of 245 mm and T-shape shape, with a slightly advanced anatomical center, to offer good freedom of movement in the saddle and maximize the effectiveness of pedaling in all positions. The semi-round ergonomic shape also makes the new NAGO R4 147 PAS ideal for cyclists with average flexibility in terms of pelvis rotation.
Compared to the 137mm NAGO R4, version 147 has a padding increased by 10 mm on the sides and 3 mm in the upper part, and is suitable for:
- cyclists with a wider ischial bone distance, which therefore require a wider base of support on the saddle;
- cyclists with a high body mass index (BMI), who can benefit from greater padding for better weight distribution;
- cyclists looking for an even more comfortable and comfortable saddle.
The open version NAGO R4 147 PAS, has two completely independent separate sections, made with the latest generation foams with variable density, to guarantee excellent support and the right comfort during all the pedaling phases. In the center, the Prologue PAS system: a large central channel and a perforated base, to eliminate pressure peaks even in the maximum thrust phases on the pedals.
The base is made of long fiber carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort.
Different Rails for each type of cyclist
- Rail Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fiber, kevlar and aluminum filaments, for cyclists more performance oriented in search of maximum rigidity and lightness.
- Rail TiroX in light alloy steel, a material with an excellent balance between weight and resistance, which gives the saddle less rigidity and superior vibration absorption, for those looking for greater comfort.
