Engineered to glide seamlessly inside the stem of the valve, this latest innovation from the Muc-Off Dev Lab allows you to easily check the health of your sealant inside the tyre, without needing to break the bead, or remove the tyre!
Running tubeless tyres with free-flowing sealant is crucial for preventing flats and maintaining riding performance. With the 'Hey Dipstick!’the job just got a ton easier, so you can focus more on enjoying your ride and less on maintenance.
Ideally use with our Big Bore valve range for super simple pre ride sealant checks, just open the lever on the valve and
slide the ‘Hey Dipstick!’ down the valve and inside the tyre. Then simply pull out and you can see the health of your sealant instantly. If it’s drying out or the level looks very low just add more sealant. If using a regular presta valve you can remove the core and carry out the same procedure. How to use:
- Once you have released all the air from your tyre, remove the valve corefrom your tubeless valve or simply open the lever on your Muc-Off Big Bore tubeless valve.
- Insert the dipstick through the valve stem until it reaches the bottom of the tyre.
- Carefully remove the dipstick and check the sealant levelindicated on the measurement scale.
- If the sealant has dried out or the level is very low then add more sealant. If it’s bone dry you may wish to remove the tyreto clean out the old sealant and then add a fresh serving of sealant.
- Reinsert the valve core and inflate your tyre to the desired pressure. If you are using Big Bore valves, simply re inflate and then, remembering to close the valve so the arrow on lever is pointing up, before removing your pump.
