You already know what heavy stock wheels feel like on a climb. That dull, dragging resistance when you stand on the pedals and the bike just... lags. These wheels fix that. Rotational weight is the weight that fights you the hardest, and at 720g front and 800g rear, there is very little of it here. First climb out of the saddle, you feel it. The bike snaps forward. It responds to you. 

The hookless carbon rim runs tubeless only, which means lower pressures, more traction, and a tyre that moulds to the trail instead of bouncing off it. The 30mm internal width gives your tyre the support it needs to corner properly at those pressures. Maximum 3 bar (44 psi), recommended 2.3 to 2.6-inch tyre. Everything works together because it was thought through together.

The Concept Speed 6-bolt disc hub runs on TPI sealed cartridge bearings and a 36-tooth ratchet ring with 10-degree engagement. 36 teeth, 36 engagement points. The moment you push, the wheel moves. The freehub body is swappable across SRAM XD, Shimano Microspline, and HG. 

Pillar 1415 double butted spokes, 16mm black brass nipples. Not aluminium, brass. Brass holds tension better over time, trues more easily, and resists corrosion in a way that makes this wheelset genuinely low-maintenance across seasons, not just impressive on unboxing day. Two spare spokes with nipples and washers are in the box.
