The Stages Power meter for Shimano's Ultegra R8100 crankset is offered in three options: Stages Power L (left-sided only), Stages Power LR (dual-sided), and Stages Power R (right-sided only).
The Stages Power L option is built onto the non-drive side Shimano Ultegra R8100 crank arm and is compatible with all frames that fit Shimano Hollowtech II cranks.
The Stages Power LR option is built onto a Shimano Ultegra R8100 crankset, placed on both the drive and non-drive side of the crank to independently measure a rider's left and right legs.
The Stages Power R option is built onto the drive side Shimano Ultegra R8100 crankarm and is compatible with all frames that fit Shimano Hollowtech II cranks.
The specifications include an accuracy of +/- 1.5% in all conditions, a low-profile power meter housing with a robust door interface, tool-free battery replacement on the left arm and phillips head screw access on the drive side, a weight of 35g (Stages Power LR), 15g (Stages Power L), or 20g (Stages Power R) added to the base crankset, a battery life of 175+ hours (Stages Power LR) or 200+ hours (Stages Power L or Stages Power R), a power range of 0-2500 Watts, a cadence range of 20-220 rpm, and a water resistance rating of IPX7.
Stages Power has been proven in top-level racing, winning three consecutive Tour de France victories along with numerous other world and national championships. The power meter features active temperature compensation as standard equipment, ensuring consistent and accurate measurements in any environmental conditions. Each Stages Power meter is individually calibrated for the most accurate results, providing a +/- 1.5% accuracy level, which is an industry best for non-scientific power meters. Additionally, the Stages Power R option offers increased compatibility for certain models and allows for upgrading existing Stages Power L meters to the Stages Power LR dual meter system.
